September has been a crazy month with the kids returning back to school and me going back to work. I thought being a parent was suppose to get easier as kids mature? Don’t you believe anyone who tells you this!
This month has been full of school, work, dance classes, a Ready-to-Read after school program and homework. Soccer practices and games begin next week!
Can someone catch me because I’m about to crash from utter exhaustion.
Or maybe I’m just exhausted because I’m iron deficient. Oops, that’s a story we’ve heard before.
Great news for me. Hubby is taking me away from all of this * busy stuff * for 4 full days. No kids, no housework, no going to work, no after school activities and no cooking!
Ever heard of Breckenridge ~ a ski resort in Colorado? Well, that’s where I’m going this Thursday. We’re meeting our super-fun Chicago friends in Denver and then driving to this super fabulous and fun ski resort for a getaway of just adults.
I will be #wineparty ‘ing in style this Friday.
While I’m gone, my wonderful parents have so kindly agreed to babysit my sweet children for me 2 of the days while my in-laws are driving in from Seattle to babysit my girls for the last 2 days. Am I lucky or what? Feeling very grateful right now.
While I’m gone, I will be taking photos of all the memories I make so expect to hear all about my trip upon my return.
There will not be a Lets BEE Friends guest feature or link-up this Friday. We will return back to our regularly scheduled program on Friday, October 7th with a double feature. Stay tuned for more on that!
As of October 3rd, I will be kicking off a month long celebration. What for, you ask?
I am celebrating my 1 year blogiversary of Bees With Honey. It’s been a year and I’m happy to say I’m still loving it.
Throughout the month of October, I will be featuring all of my sweet ol’ bloggy friends. Girls who I have grown to know and love and read on a daily basis. Sweet gals I have met through blog reading or Twitter. Wonderful friends who have been supportive and helpful when I’ve been down or in a jam. Women who inspire me. Women I admire.
I’m so excited I can barely contain myself.
So come back next Monday to help me celebrate my blog anniversary and all the women who I have grown to love over the last year. I feel blessed to have them in my virtual life.
Until then my friends, happy rest of the week and weekend!
