Like most of you probably already know, my sister started selling Avon about six months ago. Naturally, I have become one of her top buying customers. Some people love Avon and some don’t. It’s a matter of preference but being that I’m not a name brand snob, I’m always open to trying new things.
Over the last few years, my skin has started to show the signs of aging. Being that I spend a lot of time in the sun, I have started developing
aging sun spots on my face. It’s inevitable as my Mom has them and my grandma had them too. Genetics is such a lovely thing, isn’t it?
On that note, when my sister introduced me to ANEW CLINICAL Luminosity Pro Brightening Serum, I was at first a bit skeptical. I have never really been a true believer in skin care products that promise to make you look 20 when you’re 4o. Like I said above, I’m always open to trying new things and my sister gave me a few samples to try it out before buying anything.
The topical serum is a skin brightener for an at-home option to a dermatologist laser. It’s suppose to make your skin look brighter and more even toned. Over time, it’s suppose to illuminate your skin with visible reduction in fine wrinkles.
I have been using the serum now for a month. I apply it at night time before bed after I’ve washed my face with my regular cleanser. I’ve also used it during the day under my make-up. Honestly, I love the texture of the serum and the way it leaves my face feeling so soft to the touch. Since using it, I’ve noticed my face has a glow to it (not glow in the dark glow but a noticeable brightness to the overall tone of my face). I look healthier and my skin looks more appealing to me. I could be the next Noxema girl! You never know 😛
It’s amazing how simple it is to please me. Give me something that makes me truly feel prettier and I’ll buy it. Regularly, the serum costs $60 Canadian through Avon but it’s on promotion for $35 for a limited time. So if any of you Canadian folk are interested in trying some of this serum yourself, you should contact your local Avon lady. If you live in the Vancouver area, you can purchase the serum via Gina’s personal Avon page. Her page also lists any on-going promotions or specials.
And that, my friends, is what I’ve recently spent my good earned money on! Never been happier with a product.
Cheers to looking good!
