At Christmas time, the girls love making festive things to hang in our house as part of our decor for the season.
They bring home projects and art work they’ve made at school and we put them on display in our home.
Here’s what we made this week!
I first glue gunned the Popsicle sticks together to make a star and a snowflake.
Then we painted them.
Once dry, the girls used white glue to attach the pretty gems, snowflakes and angel decorations.
Once they dried, we attached Christmas ribbon to them in a loop and then hung them on our tree.
Paper Christmas Stockings
Our second project this week was less crafty and more artsy. We used stencils I had at school to cut out the pieces of a paper stocking. We white glued all the pieces together and when done, the girls went through our junk boxes to find things they could add to their stockings to make them more unique. These are now beautifully hanging on my kitchen cabinets because “even the kitchen needs to be decorated for Christmas“.
I have 3 very artsy and crafty girls who like to keep me busy.
