I am a sucker for beauty products. I always have and always will love make-up.
Up until now, I have always been a big MAC girl.
Love all of MACS products and have been using them for years.
But like everything else in my life, I like to change things up a bit from time to time.
I tried products by Mary Kay.
Of course, it helps that my sister is a Mary Kay beauty consultant. I have access to all of their products threw her and am able to try things out before I buy anything.
Anyhoo, let it be said that I bought a bunch of stuff.
Picked out all the things I absolutely loved and now I’m going to share it with you.
In case you’re interested.
First off … I don’t know if it’s the latest colour for Spring and Summer this year but I am totally crushing over < teen talk, hee hee>
the colour PEACH!
Isn’t it beautiful? I saw this photo on Pinterest and had to pin it. Must find this colour in a lip gloss for myself.
On to the new Mary Kay products I am now religiously using.
First off is Mary Kay’s Time Wise Luminous Foundation. To apply this foundation, you use this wonderful tool.
Up until now, I have never purchased nor worn foundation of any kind. I always thought I looked too made up in it whenever I’ve tried it in the past. So when given the opportunity to try again now, I said sure.
You apply it with the brush ever so lightly on your face. The foundation starts off in a liquid form and then dries to a light powder finish. You can’t even tell or feel that you’re wearing a foundation. It’s that light.
No streaks. No lines.
Removes all of the blotchy areas on my face without me looking all made up.
Next up is … what I like to call … the Magic Marker!
Really though, it’s Mary Kay’s Highlighting Pen. You use it under your eyes to cover the dark circles. The marker optically “lifts” the shadowy areas of your face.
It really works which is why I call it the magic marker.
I now never leave home without it. It’s like my secret micro-film.
Last but not least, I’m loving Mary Kay’s Nourish Line lip gloss.
They come in 12 different colours and I think they even have peach!
On a different note, if any of you – my local readers – are interested in trying any of these Mary Kay products OR are up for having a free make-over consultation, my sister would be more than happy to oblige you.
All you have to do is leave me a comment including your email and I can forward her your number. Nothing would make her happier than to pamper you with a free, no obligation to buy, makeover.
Why pass up a free makeover?
Hrm, I wonder if she’s up for letting me host a giveaway? <--- insert mischievous grin here.
