If I’m not checking my Facebook, I dive into my Instagram feed to see what all my friends are doing. When that gets old for me, I rely on Pinterest to keep me entertained.
Please note: I don’t spend all day on social media sites. I do work in and out of the home. Social media entertains me mostly while I’m waiting for my kids to fall asleep at night and I’m sitting on their bedroom floor waiting for it to happen.
I usually update my Facebook header and cover photo regularly because…. ahem … I get bored. It’s Facebook people. Gotta keep changing it up.
1. Anyhoo, I checked out all of the new Christmas templates over at Face In Hole last week and made this:
Perfect for my FB cover photo for this time of year, don’t you think?
2. And when I wasn’t wasting time on the inter-webs, I was busy doing a number of other very important things.
I took pictures of Teen B’s room while she was at school so I can show you what I’m dealing with at home. I left out the rest of her room because … umm, it needs a little cleaning! I may have to threaten her with coal in her stocking on Christmas if she doesn’t get her bootie in gear. On the flip-side, I realize I now have a fond memory of her 14 year-old obsession for One Direction. They’re a cute little boy band.
Shhh, don’t tell her I said that though. Apparently, Moms shouldn’t like the same boy bands as their daughters.
“Ugh, that’s so wrong, Mom!”. Yeah, yeah, yeah!
3. Little H kept leaving me love notes all over the house on memo paper. Not sure what she was trying to tell me but I’m darn right proud of her beautiful penmanship.
I think it says, “Mommy, I will keep my room clean when I’m a teenager, don’t worry!“.
They’re so devoted when they’re little, aren’t they?
4. The rest of the week was filled with tooth-brushing lessons, Family Fun Night at the school (hence the face painting) AND a crazy shopping trip out to Costco where I thought I was going to lose my mind. Those two cute, innocent faces you see sitting in a shopping cart above?
Don’t be fooled by them.
Another good week had by me, Mama Bee!
How was your week? Was it as exciting as mine?
