The end of April found us scrambling with tons of places to go and things to do.
Little B and her best friend Kate were dying to participate in their school’s Science Fair so I had to come up with a quick and easy idea. While Kate worked on the poster, Little B and I found a recipe for Ooblek. It’s a liquid and a solid all at the same time. Check out the recipe here! Their project – as Little B tells it – was a popular success!
As for biking, one of Little B’s goals for the summer is to improve her riding skills. Who are we to get in the way of a little girl’s determination? She wants to remove her training wheels by the end of summer and she’s determined to do so. As her parents, we’re helping by getting her outside so she can practice, practice, practice!
The end of April gave the hubby and I a little bit of a break from the kids. Over an extended weekend, we flew to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend a good friend’s wedding. We were in the company of longtime friends, had many good laughs and enjoyed a beautiful wedding full of fine dining and dancing. Many memories were made – ones we will cherish forever.
