I have been feeling so good lately and I owe it all to eating good food.
Two months ago, I changed the way I eat and I’ve stuck to eating in this new way. Not only have I watched my body change shape, I have also felt a significant improvement in the way I feel physically and emotionally.
It all started with removing sugar, wheat and processed foods from my diet.
Believe me when I say it was NOT easy. It’s crazy to think about how much sugar is in our food but it’s even scarier when you actually start to read food labels and realize how much other crap is in the foods we eat. Gross sounding stuff. Ingredient words I’ve never heard of.
The first two weeks of changing how I eat was the most challenging. I thought I would lose it. I am so glad I never gave up because now, two months later, I am reaping the benefits of eating clean on so many levels.
I do 3 things every day.
1. I drink 6-8 plus glasses of fruit infused or flavoured water a day.
2. I take my daily vitamins of C, D, fish oils and Magnesium.
3. I eat fresh foods. Nothing processed goes into my mouth.
My hubby has a garden where he grows vegetables and a separate garden where he grows every herb you can imagine. We have been eating fresh food and enjoying cooking our meals with the herbs we harvest in our backyard. Food tastes SO much better when you cook with herbs. I am in love!
This is what I had for breakfast yesterday.
It was delish.
What 3 things do you do everyday?

That omelette looks delicious! We made some changes in our diet and you’re right, it is really tough in the beginning! That’s so great that you have a garden to pick fresh veggies and herbs from. We are trying to start one this summer too! So happy to have you link up to #3ThingsThursday.
I never imagined I’d ever have a garden let alone see my husband be interested in starting one. So glad he did but it’s great and it brings back memories of my own parents having a huge garden all through my childhood and teen years. We always ate fresh growing up. I’m going back to that! My grandma lived until 101 and was still gardening and cooking fresh until the very end. Longevity!
Love your link-up! Glad I found the time to link-up with you girls this week 🙂
Delicious. I still don’t find strength to cut sugar completely. I do not ingest as much processed white sugar though.
