How do you inspire teenage girls to stay away from technology over the summer?
That is the million dollar question!
You make them create a summer bucket list of activities requiring no technology or social media whatsoever.
My teenage daughter and her friends can be very determined and creative when they put their heads together.
First thing on their list of summer activities ended up being …. drum roll please …
Finger Paint Twister
How To Play
You need finger paint in all the colours found on a Twister mat.
Place corresponding paint to each colour circle on a Twister mat.
Play game as usual.
Have fun getting body painted!
Teen B and girlfriends had an amazing time playing this version of Twister. The entire neighbourhood heard their shreaks and giggles the entire afternoon.
FUN without the need for technology – minus Mom taking pics and posting them to Instagram!
How have your teens been entertaining themselves this summer?

Love the idea of having kids create a non-technology Bucket List for themselves. So great! It would also be a fabulous thing to do with a class as an end of year activity (I’m a teacher:) My kids are a bit too young right now (only 1.5 and 3 yrs) but I’ll make a mental note for when they get older. Love it!
